Project Manager - Reinvestment

Project Manager - Reinvestment

No waiting, no hassle, no drivers. Most people in Copenhagen take for granted that the next Metro will arrive in a few minutes. But you know that it requires great skills to keep a system like the Copenhagen Metro looking simple and intuitive to the public.

If you also happen to be a project manager, you could be the new colleague we are looking for to contribute to our work in strengthening public transport in the capital region. For the benefit of the citizens, the urban development, and not least the green transition where your work will contribute significantly.

Personal Responsibility with Opportunities for Growth

As a project manager, you will play a vital role within The Reinvestment Team, which operates under the Asset and Renewal Unit alongside 25 colleagues. This team covers Portfolio Management, Digital Asset Management, Maintenance Supervision, and coordination of configuration approval.

Your responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of projects from initiation to completion. This involves planning, coordination, and follow-up across all project phases, from initial analysis to preliminary and detailed design to tendering and finally, commissioning.

Your focus on delivering individual projects or project components in a safe and environmentally responsible manner will ensure compliance with relevant requirements, codes, and standards.

At Metroselskabet, we see project management as a central discipline, and you will be part of a team consisting of skilled project manager colleagues who are passionate about successfully executing their projects. Additionally, you will work closely with your management, including weekly project follow-ups, weekly 1:1 meetings, and feedback sessions focusing on risk management, mitigating actions, sparring, progress, and your development as a project manager. Therefore, there are ample opportunities for both professional and personal development.

About you

There can be many entry points to the position. We envision that you have a relevant academic background or relevant technical knowledge. Ideally, you can demonstrate a proven track record for delivering projects on time and on budget. Experience working with metro/railway infrastructure projects is preferred. However, if you are a recent graduate, we would also like to hear from you.

We particularly value that you are highly collaborative and self-motivated, structured and analytical and have a keen eye for detail. As a person, you are open and outgoing with good teamwork skills and a positive attitude. With a steep learning curve and a trustworthy demeanor, you can create solid and constructive relationships across organizations. You are good at stakeholder management and integrating company ambitions in your own projects, both in relation to safety and sustainability, etc.
